In China, there are bamboo forests, where Pandas live . Pandas eat bamboo and there is no trees but there is bamboo. In the bamboo forests there are another animal , it is called Red Panda. A Panda gas six fingers. Pandas can climb trees and swim. Eating and sleeping makes pandas daily life. Pandas can climb bamboo trees and Panda lives in a cold climate. Giant pandas spend 12 hours a day eating, it eats up to 15 kilograms of bamboo everyday. Bamboo is rich in protein as well as fiber.
A panda is 99% vegetarian which mostly includes bamboo roots, stems, shoots and leaves. However their digestive system is typical of a carnivore, so the remaining 1% of their diet can include eggs and small animals. They live in high dense bamboo forests in the misty, rainy mountains of southwest China, Panda is one of rarest mammals: Giant panda is also called the panda. Panda eat 70 to 100 pounds of bamboo each day to get all its nutrients. To obtain this much food means that a panda must spend 10 to 16 hours a day forgoing and eating.
Adult Panda weigh up to 125 kg. The giant pandas scientific name is Ailuropoda melanoleuca, which means "back and white cat foot" . Cubs are well protected in their first month. Pandas sleeps 10 hours a day . Panda eat for 12 hours a day because they digest only about a fifth of what they eat.
